My name is Brenda Velez. I am 40 years old and I have two boys, 5 and 17. I opened my daycare in October of 2015 in order to be able to spend more time at home with my children. I have over 28 years of experience with children, from babysitting when I was 12 years old, volunteering at school activities, and raising my own.

I have over 20 years of experience working with children who have special needs. I have extensive experience working with children with non-verbal and cognitive delays. I teach children in my care sign language as it is one of the gateways to communication while developing language skills and expressive emotional skills.

At Brenda's little Monkey's Daycare we believe in the importance of learning as you play. We are very focused on the development of learning, early reading, and developing socialization skills with other children. We also believe in the importance of family. Families that grow together and care for each other. If your child attends our daycare they will not only learn family values, they will be treated as part of the family.
